Online Room Selection
Room selection is done online on the during your assigned time slot.
Who goes first?Time slots are assigned based on social class (not credit hour standings) with rising seniors & graduate students getting the first time slots followed by rising juniors, then rising sophomores. Fifth year seniors are not assigned separate time slots but are assigned with all other rising seniors. Spring admit transfer students are encouraged to verify their social classification with the Registrar's Office. |
Prepare, prepare, prepare!Review the online selection process carefully to learn what you can do ahead of time to ensure your best possible outcome during your time slot. We also have several rooming options that you may opt into before time slots are assigned. |
Don't have a roommate?If you would prefer to be assigned with a random roommate instead of being a part of a roommate group, at the end of your time slot day beginning at 3:00 p.m. through 5:00 p.m. the same day you will be able to self-assign to a room without a roommate group. Know that you will be assigned a roommate at random and that roommate questionnaire would not be considered at time of assignment. Freshman and sophomores are required to live on-campus housing based on social class. Failure to sign the contract will not release a student from this requirement and Residence Life will assign a housing assignments after June 1, 2021. |
